Sunderland Carers’ Centre

Do you care for someone with a long-term health condition?

If you feel like you would benefit from having more knowledge and skills about their condition to help you care for that person more effectively, Sunderland Carers’ Centre is hosting free workshops to help.

The centre is offering FREE six-week workshops for carers. You could join with one session per week.

If the person you look after has diabetes; heart disease or COPD respiratory disease the centre can offer support and information through the workshops that will give you more confidence in your caring role to deal with their conditions day to day.

When and where?

The free workshops are held across Sunderland in the community and you can choose whether you come along on an afternoon, evening, or Saturday morning. Just two hours a week over six weeks, the programme of workshops is ongoing, so get in touch to find out when you can start.
